1. Easy to Start:

The best thing about online businesses, is that you get a website or app, have products to sell and you are ready to go.

Facebook provides option on personal accounts too to run ads, as simple as that.

People even are selling online through instagram pages and whatsapp.

2. Requires lesser capital comparatively:

Since online businesses can be started and operated using a pc/laptop, internet connection and products to sell, you can save much on lease/renting a office or warehouse space for the start.

One can operate it from home with no much hassle. And requires no shelves, no shops or fancy showrooms where the major chunk of money goes for offliners.

3. Reach to multiple cities from the start:

This is probably the best thing about running an online business.

In an offline business, you only reach customers of that area or at most of that city. But in case of online business, you have reach to whole country’s customer base right from the day 1.

And that improves you chances of growth and getting orders.

4. Can be done along with fulltime/part time job:

I have seen several entrepreneurs, who have not left their regular job and are doing online business with great success especially on amazon.

And this is one of those benefits that online business has to offer to their owners. Since all you have to be good at is selling online, and you hire a guy/girl for packing and labelling of orders everyday and you are done.

5. Independence and not working under someone else

1. Huge competition in the market:

With the massive growth in past decade, this segment is getting saturated. With lesser advertisement alternatives of facebook-instagram and google ads, it is becoming difficult and costlier to get orders and keeping the ROAS profitable.

2. Difficult for smaller players to get orders

If you are new with low customer base and low following, it will be difficult for you to get orders. As people don’t trust new online businesses, all thanks to scamsters who have ruined the trust factor recently.

3. Financial stability is a myth

If you are bootstrapping, you will find it difficult to manage funds enough to be able to keep business and you personal finances stable.

Better you get VC or angel investment as soon as you can get it.

4. People copy your idea and end up ruining the market

People in Indian subcontinent have a habit of copying things and not doing something new of their own.

So let’s first understand the business model of Dropshipping.

How does Dropshipping Works ??

It is most easiest way of doing business and earning money online, if properly understood.

The dropshipping model involves “no inventory management at all“.

All you have to do is to carry forward the order you received from your customer to the supplier along with the shipping address of the customer, and the supplier will ship the item directly to the customer.

To make it more clear for you guys, let me explain it with an example.

  • Suppose your customer buys an ‘X’ product on your website, listed as $200 of selling price
  • What you do now is, you carry forward the shipping details to your supplier and buy that product from your supplier at (say) $100 on your customer’s behalf
  • Since you have bought that product from your supplier on your customer’s behalf, your supplier will ship the product directly to your customer.

That’s it! all you have to do is to take orders and carry forward to the supplier.

And you can earn the margins around $100,000 per month depending upon your monthly sale and margin percent you are able to make.

So basically, your customer will be buying a product virtually from you, and you will be buying that product actually from the supplier on your customer’s behalf, and margin remains with you.

This is how dropshipping works..

How to start a Dropshipping Business with almost NO Investment

Dropshipping business requires following things:

  1. Product niche (specific categories works well)

If you are freindly using wordpress and its plugins, you can create an online store with woocommerce theme and plugins on wordpress easily.

If you are not friendly with WordPress, you can go with shopify.

shopify is the most favourable option of majority of dropshippers around the world, just because it is built for the dropshippers at the first place.

Now comes the payment gateway for the website, so that you can start receiving payments on your website from your customers.

You might also have to get your business registered before you start selling in some countries, do check with your tax expert friends for that.

After checking all the things above, you need to find suppliers for the product list that you have created.

What I have found people doing these days for dropshipping is.. they are using aliexpress for supplying products for their dropshipping websites.

Products on aliexpress are sold at very low cost and you can pick products from there for selling on your website.

This provides you ample opportunity to sell products at better price, and earn huge margins.

You can directly synchronize the products from aliexpress to your website using few plugins.. both on the woocommerce as well as on the shopify.

You must have heard of dropshipping business model and its potential. Fair enough you will always have to pay for the services you have subscribed to.

But, I am gonna tell you a way where you can start your dropshipping business for No money at all..

These are the 2 things which require funds to spend before starting a business. So let’s start cutting the cost with these 2 only..

You can buy a cheapest domain name starting at $0.48 and web hosting starting at $1.53 .

This is the only cost that you would be paying for a website. Though you can always go for free wordpress website with yourname.wordpress.com as the website name. But It will not look like a working online store to the customers.

That’s why I advise to go for the cheapest domain names and cheapest hosting instead.

Now talking about the product synchronizing plugin.. I suggest you to create a website on wordpress (installing free on cpanel of web hosting) and install “ezusy” plugin by free signing up with basic (free plan) of ezusy.com

It will provide you free 150 products to synchronize from aliexpress to your woocommerce store. Which is fair enough to start a business without spending any money.

You will not find the name of this plugin anywhere else, probably because they don’t pay the bloggers for customers. 😉

But trust me, I’ve found this plugin after a long research and have tried too, before I am writing this article.

It can solve half of your problems right away.. I have felt that too for my website..after I found this.

Now all you have to do.. is to:

  1. Buy a domain name,
  2. A cheapest web hosting plan,
  3. Install the wordpress from the cpanel (which is free ), and then
  4. Install the storefront or any other free woocommerce theme along with free woocommerce installation
  5. Now create a free account with ezusy.com and you will find a plugin there to install on wordpress.

You are now all set to start selling products from Aliexpress on your website for dropshipping.

All you have to do now is to go to aliexpress.com open the products you want to sell. And you will find a blue ezusy icon beside that product image.. just click on the image to upload the product to your ezusy dashboard.

Now from ezusy dashboard you can set your own prices to the products and push them to your website from the dashboard.

This is the most cheapest and most easiest way till now one can find to start a dropshipping business, with no or least possible money.

Partnership is probably one of the most simplest form of doing business ( ofcourse after “sole proprietorship”).

All you have to do is to enter into an agreement with the other partners, agreeing on the terms on which the business will be handled and managed by the partners.

But before you go for the agreement there are few things every partner must keep in his/her mind.

Things to Consider When Entering Into A Business Partnership

1). Compatibility Check

Just like choosing a life partner, you do several compatibility checks before you enter into a marriage or engagement you must think several times about if that other partner/s is/are compatible with you.

Since once you enter the agreement you will be working together and if you guys do not understand each other well then the Business is gonna suffer for sure.

2). Partners must be complimentary to each other

It is important in a Business Partnership that the things that you can’t do well for a business your partner/s must be able to fill up that skill gap well.

Every partner need to be master in their own field, and all of them must be taking care of their own work departments. This will make them mutually exclusive at their work and thus will make each of them more valuable asset for their firm.

Since they will not be putting their nose in other’s work, partnership will go well and each of them will be able to grow their own departments well working together progressively

3). Common Long Term Goals

Before you enter into a Business Partnership you must enquire with the other partners about their long term life goals. It is important to have common long term goals, since your company’s future will depend upon it.

If for example one of your partner is not seeing himself/herself doing business anymore in after 5 years or say after 10 years then this is going to be tough for you to be with him/her in a same business.

4). Seriousness about the Business idea

Before Entering the agreement, whether it’s you or any of your partner.. if any one of them doesn’t have faith in the Business Idea, then he/she must not enter into the Business Agreement.

Company once formed and start running, your employees will be dependent on you and thus you have to be damn serious about your business, and should take the steps wisely.

5). Fair Share in the Business

If you are entering into a Business Partnership, it’s important that each of the partner must invest (in terms of money and hard work) in equal proportion and not just 1 or 2 of the partners doing all the work.

And all of them must get a fair share in the business’ profits/losses and not just 1 or 2 of them are taking the burden of others for some reason.

From my past business formation ( both successful and unsuccessful Business partnership attempts) experiences, aforesaid points were the things I learnt from those experiences and I truly believe each of you reading this article should seriously consider them before entering into any Business Partnership.

Business Partnership is the easiest way to start doing a business in any country worldwide. All you need is a partnership agreement of sharing profits and losses of the firm and providing your skills and hard work towards the growth of the company.

If you have recently planned to enter into a partnership with an existing firm, then you and that firm will be writing a new partnership deed on new profit/loss sharing terms.

How to Become a Business Partner in an Existing Business in India

For becoming a business partner in an existing firm, Section 31 of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932, says that you need the consent of all the existing partners of the firm to be ready to add you as a new partner.

And for adding a new partner the whole business terms will have to be re-written on the partnership agreement you will be signing with them.

Introduction of a New Partner

At the time of execution of the “process of introduction of new partner “, all the present partners along with the new partner (to be introduced) must be present with the witnesses.

All the partners must provide the original copy of their PAN (Permanent Account Number) Card along with the copy of residence proof.

The date on which the new partnership deed is executed, the previous partnership deed shall stand superseded.

The person introduced in the firm does not hold the liability of any previous acts of the firm, before the introduction of the new partner.
